I think I fixed the problem....I added a figure of a monk holding the year in one arm and reaching with his other arm and hand to the spot where the year goes. I tried extending one finger to point to the spot but it kept looking like the gesture some times used for drivers that cut us off on the road :) Thanks everyone....I'll see if I can scan a copy of it when it is done. cheers, aliskye lyondemere, Caid =================================================================== To unsubscribe from this list, send email to with a blank Subject: line and unsubscribe scribes in the body of the message. After the recent on-site scriptorium at Festival of the Rose, JimBear, Morgan and I decided that we'd like to buy more pergamenata paper for future projects of this type. We have a source where we can get 27" by 39" sheets of heavyweight pergamenata paper for a good price IF we buy a minimum of 30 sheets. Unfortunately, that's a little more than the Scribes' Office budget, so we're asking if any of our fellow scribes would like to go in on this purchase. The paper will cost about $3.60 per sheet* and we will need your money in advance. For those of you who haven't used pergamenata paper, it looks rather like vellum, it is pH neutral, translucent enough to be easy to trace through and very forgiving of mistakes, i.e. it erases or scrapes clean very well. It is heavy enough to hold wax seals without problems. It works best with techniques that have smaller areas of paint or for styles that use a dry-brush technique as it tends to cockle with large areas of wet media. *Price may be slightly less, depending on how many sheets we order* If you are interested, please contact me at the following e-mail address: Luiseach@aol.com Luighseach, on a soggy Sunday afternoon, when staying inside and writing sounds like a great idea. =================================================================== To unsubscribe from this list, send email to with a blank Subject: line and unsubscribe scribes in the body of the message.
